Palmetto by Harlequin

Today’s blog post is all about Harlequin’s latest collections; Palmetto Fabrics, Wallpapers, Silks & Plains – that’s certainly plenty of stuff to be getting excited about!
The range offers a sultry range of botanical designs, alongside textured plains, vibrant patterns and oriental motifs.

As there’s SO  much to talk about, we figured it’s best to leave the choice to you when it comes to decorating, but here’s our top four from the range:

  • Demoiselle
Demoiselle is a beautiful dragonfly design with intricate wings, tessellated on bright and striking backdrop. Ideal for a scatter cushions or vibrant drapery about the house, the Demoiselle Fabric is a great material for adding some nature-inspired character into the space. Alternatively, the Demoiselle design is also available in a Wallpaper – perfect for a statement feature wall in the hallway or in your dream summer home.
  • Alvar
Alvar is a quirky co-ordinate for the Palmetto Wallpapers and Fabrics which offers a contemporary velvet design on a neutral backdrop – adding texture to the house. Paired with plains and a feature wall, this stylish material will stand out from the crowd, adding intrigue and fun to the house!
There’s no matching wallpaper for the Alvar design, but as you can see, it works well with the Cranes in Flight Wallpaper.
  • Belvedere
Belvedere is a brushed, acid wash style plain with a hidden textured look, making a beautiful French Chateau style. The Belvedere Wallpapers are perfect for creating a counterbalance to the busier designs within the range, but still offers something a little different to the usual block coloured plain paints or papers.
Harlequin are also launching the Belvedere Collection to match; comprising of a selection of colourful crushed velvets, the collection will add even more sophistication to the room.
  • Lovers Knot

We think the Lovers Knot Wallpaper is the perfect item for the Autumn! With the big and bold leaf motifs, the Lovers Knot will make your home so much more homely and warm within the colder months. This colourway in particular, combines deep blue-grey shades with an autumnal browny red to create a lovely contrast. Be sure to keep this wallpaper nearby open spaces and windows so the light will reflect off and keep the room bright.

If the patterns are all getting a bit much for you, Harlequin’s plain co-ordinates might make you feel a little more balanced! Whether you choose the Palmetto Silks or simple plains, the collections offer all the matching colours to the busier designs for the latest ranges.
